To see a community where African-Canadian parents are united and actively engaging in their children's education and social inclusion, where equal opportunities and academic success are promoted, and where cultural differences are celebrated and integrated into the education system. we inspire to see our children grow up in an inclusive, equitable, and enriching educational and social environment where they can reach their full potential and contribute positively to society.

Our journey is rooted in many years of volunteering, community involvement, and professional experience across different sectors in Canada. Through these experiences, we have witnessed both the opportunities available to newcomers and the challenges families can face while adapting to a new country.

We believe that no parent should have to navigate this journey alone.

For many Afro-Canadian parents and newcomers, understanding the Canadian education system, workplace culture, community services, social expectations, and available opportunities can take time. At the same time, parents are faced with the important responsibility of helping their children adapt, grow, succeed academically, develop confidence, and become active members of Canadian society.

This is why Engaged Afro-Canadian Parents for Children Success (EACPCS) was created.

We believe that parental involvement is one of the foundations of a child’s success. When parents are informed and empowered, they are better prepared to communicate with schools, support their children’s education, recognize opportunities, address challenges, and advocate for their children’s future.

Through education, workshops, community engagement, mentorship, and partnerships, we seek to build bridges between families, schools, institutions, and the wider community.

Our vision is not simply to help families adapt to Canada, but to help them thrive, contribute, and build a successful future for the next generation.
